The 27th edition of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards was held on Saturday, May 9, at the Grand Arena in Accra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The prestigious event brought together some of the biggest names in Ghana\u2019s music industry for a night of celebration, performances and recognition of excellence in music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ceremony officially opened with a performance by Enam, while Unsung Artiste of the Year winner Morgan Nero also thrilled patrons with a performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The night featured electrifying performances from Kofi Kinaata, Piesie Esther, Diana Hamilton, Wendy Shay, Samini, Medikal, Black Sherif and Lasmid. There was also a special tribute performance in honour of legendary highlife icon Daddy Lumba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The biggest winner of the night was Black Sherif, who was crowned Artiste of the Year after another remarkable year of musical success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
